Telegram CEO Pavel Durov Arrested Over Probe Into Human Trafficking

It all started with the arrest of the CEO of the Telegram “Pavel Durov” who is a Russian entrepreneur and business executive. Mr. Pavel Durov was born in 1984 in the Soviet Union, in a family of intellectuals and educated people and took his early education in a prestigious high school in St Petersburg. Durov always spoke against power from an early age.

Pavel Durov was a supporter of free speech from his start. When his previous platform known as VK was accused of having too much pornographic content, he ironically changed his Twitter name to “Porn King”.

But things changed when his famous and well-known platform was not accessible by any government or any other regulatory authority is “allegedly” used for drug dealing, child pornography, and human trafficking.

It is even said that many terrorist organizations are using Telegram for their terrorist activities to stay out of the reach of any external control.

We are not sure about the use of Telegram by terrorist organizations or its use for human trafficking, but we are damn sure that this application is being used by scammers and fraud people and there is no check and balance on this app.

Although it is not clear what will be the future of Telegram, there are many rumors that Telegram will be either banned or will lose all its privacy and will be handed to the French govt maybe which will be handling it very closely.
