New SIMs sales banned in KPK

According to Daily Dawn news PTA has issued a directive to impose restriction on new mobile SIM sales in KPK province. MNP is already banned in Pakistan. According to the PTA directive, mobile SIMs sales have also been restricted even on franchises and company owned service centres in the province.

Ban on new mobile SIM sales will impact on revenues of mobile networks in Pakistan. Meanwhile mobile companies are already suffering from a huge loss due to MNP restriction and consistent service stoppage in the country.

According to PTA, these steps are being taken to enhance security measures in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa because illegal mobile connections are being used to commit crimes in the province.

Are these steps really helpful to improve security of our country.

After listening Rehman Malik and reading these news, it seems that Prepaid sim is the only problem. Which is creating terrorism, impatience and all other problems.  Prepaid sim is not the only way of communication. So those who think that by banning Prepaid SIM they can stop terrorism, they are just......... fooools

Ab khud dekh lain jazz, zong, ufone, warid nd telenor... 5 sim to yeh hi hain, ab agr mazeed koi sim leni pare to kia krin gy?

Pakistan mein 5 he tou Mobile networks hain. I think 5 SIMs are enough for an individual aur aapka guzara to already 4 SIMs se ho raha hai na...
