When Google earlier announced its Nexus 7 at the Google I/O event, it was the first tablet to run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Through some reliable sources, the device will now receive the latest Jelly Bean update – Android 4.2 in the next couple of weeks.

First of all you need to confirm if your handset supports the latest update of Android OS. If its allows to upgrade your phone then you can upgrade it via Over The Air Upgrade or via PC through data cable.

Any source of this news? I doubt it, Nexus is always a mobile/tablet in which google introduces its new OS i.e. Android version. Firstly it was HTC then Samsung and now Motorola, LG and Asus as well..... But I don't know any Nexus device which receives next update by Android...

So please if you know any device in past, please let  me know or provide us with source of this news of you...

That's really a great news then, and thanks for the correction :) It is first time (at least in my knowledge you can say) and reason may be the only one, they released Android 4.2 after 4.1 (Jelly Bean) but did not renamed it. Android 4.2 will also called as Jelly Bean just like 4.1 was Jelly Bean...

Anyhow thanks for the link.
