Dear Safdar,
LAN and WLAN are totally different things. I did not mention LAN in my post. I was talking about WLAN. WLAN stands for Wireless Local Area Network. WLAN gives you accessibility to connect to a wireless network through WiFi hotspot.

Dear Mariya,
First of all its not an iPod its a Tablet PC. Secondly as it is mentioned in its features that it has WiFi to connect to Wireless networks. But you can not access simple LAN with this tablet PC because it doesn't have a port to let you connect to a simple Local area Network as it is a tablet PC not a full-fledged desktop PC.

yeah i got it coz i didnt seen tablet pc in real thats y dnt know much abt it ,how does it work ?i  dnt have  good knowledge abt tablet pcs thats y asking question like this now i got it k simple lan doesnt work in tablet pcs

Its okay. Tablet PCs are minimal versions of desktop PCs. They just consist of a touch screen, some touch controls, side key locks and usually their size varies from 7" to 10". Tablet PCs nearly have all built-in features ready to be used which a computer must have in it.
