In the aftermath of the decision given by the court against Samsung for patent violation, Samsung claimed that foreman Velvin Hogan gave a biased opinion. But Judge Lucy Koh has denied these claims and said that if there were any reservations, they should have been revealed during the trial. As a result, the appeal for a new trial has been discarded.
