Y51s is an incredibly beautiful and stylish device announced by Smart tech Vivo on the 24th of this month. Vivo introduced the two variants of Y51s 128GB 6GB RAM and 128GB 8GB RAM.
Y51s with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage is available in the Pakistani market at PKR 37,990. You can buy this phone in two different colors Titanium Sapphire and Crystal Symphony.
In the box, you will find a silicon cover in white color, a fast charger of 18W, and a pair of handsfree. The body of the device is made up of plastic, and it gives you a glossy look.
On the rear side of the smartphone, you will find a triple camera setup with an LED flash and Vivo branding.
Vivo Y51s Design and First Impression
The first impression of the device will give you goosebumps. Vivo Y51s look gorgeous in hands, and the bezels & chin of the device are thin. It comes with a 6.53 inches IPS display with an 84.4% of screen-to-body ratio.
In short, V Y51s give you a premium look, and you can carry the device easily as it weighs just 190 g.
I watched a few videos, and the performance of the screen was very good. I really enjoyed watching the videos as the colors were bright & vibrant.
Vivo Y51s Selfie & Rear Camera Review
Y51s comes with a 16 MP selfie camera. I captured a few photos, and the result was excellent. Also, I went outside and captured many photos from different angles, and believe me the camera result remains impressive.
Further, the video quality of the selfie camera was also good. You can shoot a slow-motion video at 1080p resolution with the front cam of Vivo Y51s.
Now, if we talk about the rear cameras, as I discuss above, Y51s has a triple camera setup on the backside. The main camera is 48 MP with an aperture of 1.8.
The best thing about the primary camera is that you can shoot an HD video with ultra-stable mode. So, if you are a Youtuber or TikToker, believe me, you gonna love this device.
Vivo Y51s Gaming Performance Review
Vivo Y51s comes with a Chipset Snapdragon 662 & Adreno GPU 610. You can play the games on low, medium, and high graphics settings. One thing you would not going to like is that you cannot play games on HD, HDR, or Ultra HD mode.
The overall gaming performance of Vivo Y51s was good but graphics and color were not impressive. I played PUBG on Vivo Y51s – the colors of grass and container were dull and bad. So my gaming experience on Vivo Y51s was not good.
However, the performance of the Y51s was good in multitasking.
Should You Buy Vivo Y51S?
So if you are thinking of buying Y51s for TikTok or Youtubing, I’d recommend this phone. On the other hand, for gaming purposes, I’d not recommend this device.
