The SamMobile, a famous fan made website, claims to have the inside information about specs of the upcoming Galaxy S5 Mini. The new device of the Galaxy series is expected to have 4.5 inches large screen with 720p display, 1.5 GB RAM, 16 GB memory storage, quad-core Snapdragon 400 CPU and 2100 mAH battery which is sufficient enough to carry out the long tasks on the device with a single charge. The rear camera of the device is 8MP and in order to support the video conferencing 2 MP front camera is also there.

The latest Android version, Android 4.4 KitKat, will run on the device. The new Samsung Galaxy will also have the IP67 certification which means that the device has the resistance to protect the display from dust. The amazing features such as heart-rate and fingerprint reader will not be available however; in the near future users may enjoy these features in the mid-range Samsung devices.
Samsung has only released Galaxy Mega 5.8, Galaxy S4 Mini and Galaxy Grand 2 phablet with 1.5 GB of RAM. All of the specs of Grand 2 were interestingly matched with SamMobile who leaked the specs of the device weeks before the official announcement. It appears from the specs of Galaxy S5 Mini that Samsung is about to release Grand 2 Mini in the S5 clothing.

The launch of the Galaxy S5 Mini is scheduled in June and until then we will have to wait for the official announcement to confirm the specs and other interesting features of the device.
