Google released its first 7 inch Nexus tablet before two years and since then it was stuck with the same size of the device but in the upcoming model of the Google Nexus there might be some change in the size. The speculation are high that Google may unveil its latest Nexus tablet with 8 or 8.9 inches large screen which is too good for the user to fully enjoy the browsing experience and use the exciting feature of the device with ease.

According to the DigiTimes, who is well known for its internal connection with Asian Supply chain, believes that Google is launching its Nexus tablet in 2014 with 8.9 inches large screen in order to match the trend and compete well with large sized devices available in the market. In the whole tablet market, large sized tablets make up only 30% of the whole market. Google’s entry in the large sized tablet will definitely entice other companies to target the untapped segment of the market which has plenty of potential for growth as well.

In the last few years, several companies manufactured large screen tablet but Samsung is the only one who is producing the largest sized tablet devices. In the upcoming models of the Nexus, Google may go for the larger sized tablet. However, it would be too early if the company goes for the extra large tablet.
