Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTCL) initiated the paid internship program in 2012 and since then the organization has been giving the university graduates the opportunity to learn and excel. These are the paid internship awarded to the talented university graduates through one year internship program.

The sole purpose of the project is to give the professional exposure to the fresh graduates in order to develop essential skills and gain the required experience so that the candidate could compete in the dynamic job market. The Chief Executive Officer and President of PTCL, Mr. Walid Irshaid” said, “ We will continue to serve the society by contributing towards socio-economic progress of the nation through different initiatives of the community development.” He also added that these programs will nourish the human capital of the country and produce future leaders.
From the “One Year Internship Program 2014” the batch of 500 talented individuals have been selected and these individuals will be offered a 12 months internship and paid a lump-sum of Rs. 15000 every month.

PTCL has been offering the paid internship since 2012 in various departments of the organization such as marketing, customer care, engineering, finance, IT, Human Resource and others. Those who perform well during the tenure will be offered a full time job at the organization. However, only 50 top performers will be offered a full time job.
